Founder, Innovations for Tomorrow
Ciprian Stanescu is currently Partnerships Manager for the Ashoka office in Romania. Ashoka is the oldest and largest organisation supporting social innovation, active in over 90 countries. Between 2007 and 2017 he worked for the Aspen Institute Romania, as Director for Corporate Affairs. He is currently doing his PhD in International Economics in Bucharest and holds an MA in Political Science from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. In his spare time he used to coordinate Social Impact Award Romania, the largest European competition and education program on social innovation for youth and CEE Curator for Hello Tomorrow, the world’s premier science and technology start-up challenge. He is a Global Shaper Alumni of the World Economic Forum and founder of Global Shapers Bucharest Hub. He teaches a class on Futurism at The Entrepreneurship Academy and the Alternative University in Romania and has developed a series of events on technological innovation and futurism – Innovations for Tomorrow.
