    • Project Management and the Alien Encounter

I suspect that you will all know this story:

Six blind men were asked to determine what an elephant looked like by feeling different parts of the elephant's body.

The blind man who feels a leg says the elephant is like a pillar; the one who feels the tail says the elephant is like a rope; the one who feels the trunk says the elephant is like a tree branch; the one who feels the ear says the elephant is like a hand fan; the one who feels the belly says the elephant is like a wall; and the one who feels the tusk says the elephant is like a solid pipe.

    • Interview with the successful person inside you

Until now, I have met, as well in the personal and professional life, different people having different perspective over their relationship with success. I’ve seen persons who achieve with a smile on their face their personal and/or professional goals and others who constantly live the insufficiency feeling, despite reaching their objectives. In this context, I refer to a “successful person” as being part of the first category. I have analyzed successful persons around me and I noticed they have in common qualities that differentiate them from the rest of people: the good mood based on the reality they live in, pragmatism and the energy focus on those activities they can handle and control. In other words, you can be concerned about some attitudes of the people surrounding you, but if you can’t control this, it is more useful to concentrate your energy on your attitude towards them.
