AI Lead of the Data Centric Workloads and Solutions Group (DCWS) in EMEA, Dell Technologies

Birger is an IT veteran for more than 33 years in business, from mainframe to Windows to Unix.

Today, Birger is the AI Lead of the Data Centric Workloads and Solutions Group (DCWS) in EMEA at Dell Technologies.

 He started as an Enterprise Technologist at Dell in 2010, holding various technical leadership roles and supporting the sales and presales teams in complex AI opportunities.

 Previously, Birger was focusing on storage, from hardware maintenance to storage design and data center solutions to hyperconverged technologies.

 Before joining Dell, he worked for 13+ years at Sun Microsystems, from Systems Engineer to Storage Architect to Data Management Ambassador to International Storage Specialist with specialties in software defined data centers and hyperconverged scale out IT architectures,  storage and solution design in heterogeneous IT environments.

 And at the beginning of his career, Birger was a systems programmer for mainframes, taking care of mainframe storage protection and automation.
