Marco Mengotto istheFinancial Services Practice Leader EMEA at Dell Technologies. Based in Varese, Lombardy, Italy, Marco oversees a team, who is positioned to help banking and financial services customers on their digital transformation journeys. Marco’s role sees him engage with C level customers, to promote the business value of digital transformation, multi-cloud strategies, and cyber security and resiliency. He engages the expertise in his team to provide guidance and best practice to customers, as well as deliver and coordinate technical strategies and solutions from across the Dell Technologies portfolio, from app modernisation, infrastructure solutions, server networking and storage through to cloud, Edge, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Marco is highly skilled in helping often risk-adverse customers accelerate their digital transformation infinitives. He can help them see the value that new technologies, such as AI and data analytics, can deliver in terms of opening new revenue streams, while navigating these decisions in an industry compliant and data sovereign way. As the enterprise has become more distributed, Marco is adept at helping customers extend their core security beyond the traditional perimeter, and enable employees, including traders, to work from anywhere. A core mantra is not only helping customers navigate the ‘how and what?’ But the why?  Everyone must have a business reason to make an investment decision.

Marco joined Dell Technologies in 2017 from Net App, where he was an Engineer. He studied Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
